Are you Over-Healing?

Are you overwhelemd with Over-healing?

Thats is the word I am using for those who I see with their bodies overwhelmed with too many types of healing modalities.

I think it is wonderful to have so many incredible healers in our community ready to help you access your inner power. Especially when I compare this to a few years ago when we were all needing these services so much to help us navigate these new energies. I am so grateful for the healings I had and still have to help ground me and access my magic.

But, lately I have noticed a lot of people passing through that have overloaded their bodies with different types of healing. Looking for answers.

What does this mean?

We are navigating a new way of being. We feel these new energies pulsing through our bodies and some days it feels impossible to breathe, we feel discombobulated and disregulated. Our central nervous system can be just as overwhelmed with too much healing  the same way we can be in a constant loop of background environmental anxiety.

Some days it feels like complete chaos, others a blissful float.

In this time our mind, body and soul craves balance. Our bodies are upgrading into a new paradigm. Our bodies are craving relief from trying to make sense of past, present and future.

Some days we simply need others to help guide us. And this is ok. A true guide will give you the tools to access your own healing abilities.

The truth is that the key to this lies within us all.

We are our own BEST HEALERS

Keep that as your mantra. Wake up every morning and say:

“I am my own best healer

My body contains all the wisdom and power I need

To heal myself

To love myself

To forgive myself

I am grateful for this and more”

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Who is in my medicine basket?
  • Are my healers my guides?
  • Do my guides give me the tools to heal myself?
  • Do I feel empowered (or dependent)?
  • Is my body feeling regulated?
  • Am I accessing too much healing all at once?

SUGGESTIONS:

On pieces of paper write down the names of the healers/people you currently spend time with:

Pop them in a basket or bowl.

Think carefully about each person and ask yourself :

  • Is this person truly helping me or does it just feel nice to be around them?
  • Is this person guiding me to find my authentic self?
  • Is this person helping me access my inner magic?
  • Am I dependent on this person to make me feel better?

Remove anyone who may not be helping you access your inner power, your own very own healing magic contained within your body. Once you have done that you will be left with your medicine basket and the people you trust within it!

Pace your sessions, make sure if you want to work with someone, work with them for a few weeks and see how that integrates. If nothing is landing then explore other options.

Don’t overload yourself trying to find answers, work with one person at a time. Allow the sessions to fully integrate before seeking more healing.

Allow your nervous system to self-regulate. Seek the help of plants if needed but these will only be needed temporarily whilst you are on your journey of self-discovery. Plants are a wonderful way to ground you and bring balance.

Ask lots of questions, never leave a stone unturned. When in your session ensure you make the most of it!
